The Town Hall -  as well as housing the Parish Council Offices, contains the County Council Library and
an office for the Registrar of Birth, Marriages & Deaths.

The Memorial Park, whose entrance gates are a Memorial to those who gave their lives in the Second World War, has Skate Board/BMX facilities, children's play ground, basket ball nets, football pitch and a bowling green, together with flower beds.

Dove Holes:
 Small football pitch opposite the Over 60's Club & Mountain Rescue.

Combs: Play equipment  (land is in Combs Village Hall Trust  ownership).

Sparrowpit Troughs

During inclement weather, the park keepers are kept busy renovating the seats, (so some may be missing from time to time), repairing their equipment and also find time to carry out many other repairs.

The Council also provides Bus Shelters & Notice Boards in the Parish.
