Members of any age are welcome although 7 is probably the lowest age to handle bowls. The Club would be pleased to train anyone interested, arrange practice and this could lead to playing in local leagues. There are several players aged between 12 and 18 who play for local clubs. Interested? |

Chapel Band's Cool2play brass programme is looking to form a junior band 'SK23' consisting mainly of teenagers who already know how to play a brass instrument and also a learner band called 'Brass Monkeys' for those of all ages who would like to learn to play a brass instrument. The Band also offers private tuition on an individual basis. |

What's on Guide Youth Provision in Chapel, Chinley and Whaley Bridge Spring term 2008 Mondays Generic Youth Club at Chinley Community Association, Lower Lane, Chinley 7pm – 9pm Tuesdays Jam Night at Chapel Youth Club – a chance to make music, learn and instrument plus song writing and performance skills 7pm – 9pm Whaley Bridge Inters Youth Club 6.30pm – 8.30pm Wednesdays Youth Service Mobile at Chapel High School at lunchtime Young women’s group at Chapel High School 3.15pm – 5pm Thursdays Youth Service mobile unit at Tesco’s car park 6.45 – 8.45 Fridays Friday Nite Live at Chapel Youth Club 7pm – 9pm plus youth workers on outreach in Chapel Memorial Park This half term activities include Trip to Manchester Tuesday 19th to visit Urbis, shopping and a Chinese meal. Music workshops for looked after young people and E2E Jam night visit to Buxton to plan the Fringe event All activities are open to young people 11 – 19 who are youth club members.
